Team Expectations

Every member of the Mile High Legacy Steppers is expected to:

Display respect toward coaches, staff, teammates, parents, and community members.
Demonstrate integrity, honesty, and good sportsmanship at all times.
Arrive on time and prepared for every practice, performance, and event.
Wear the appropriate practice attire and official uniform as instructed.
Represent Mile High Legacy Steppers with excellence both on and off the performance floor.
Encourage teammates and help create a positive team environment.
Maintain a willingness to learn, grow, and accept constructive coaching.

Attendance Policy

Attendance is critical to the success of the team. Members agree to:

Attend all scheduled practices whenever possible.
Notify the coach in advance if an absence is unavoidable.
Arrive at least 15 minutes before practice unless otherwise instructed.
Understand that excessive absences may affect participation in performances and competitions.

Behavior Expectations

Participants will:

Use respectful language.
Keep hands to themselves.
Follow all coach instructions immediately.
Show kindness and encouragement toward teammates.
Refrain from bullying, harassment, or discrimination.
Maintain a positive attitude.

Uniform Policy

Uniforms are the property of the participant once purchased. Participants agree to:

Keep uniforms clean and in good condition.
Wear the complete uniform during performances.
Report any damaged items immediately.
Replace lost or damaged uniform pieces at the participant's expense.

Social Media Policy

Members are expected to represent the organization positively. The following are prohibited:

Bullying
Threats
Inappropriate language
Negative comments about teammates or coaches
Content that reflects poorly on Mile High Legacy Steppers

Violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action.

Discipline Policy

Failure to follow team expectations may result in:

Verbal Warning
Parent Conference
Suspension from practice
Suspension from performances
Dismissal from the organization (if necessary)

Parent / Guardian Expectations

Parents and guardians agree to:

Support coaches and team leadership.
Ensure participants arrive on time.
Communicate respectfully.
Avoid disrupting practices or performances.
Encourage positive sportsmanship.

Photo & Video Release

I grant permission for Mile High Legacy Steppers to photograph and record performances, practices, and events for promotional use (social media, flyers, website).

I grant permission for photo and video use.

Liability Release (Required)

I understand that participation in stepping, drill, dance, and physical activity carries inherent risks. I voluntarily assume responsibility for participation and release Mile High Legacy Steppers, its directors, coaches, volunteers, and affiliates from liability for injuries sustained during participation, except through their willful misconduct.
